“yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.”Galatians 2:16 ESV

All,
This stands out because Paul says, “but through faith in Jesus Christ”. I hear people say they have faith and sometimes I wonder what that faith is in. I wish they would finish the sentence and say faith “in Jesus Christ” if the faith is in Jesus. For me, faith in Jesus means complete trust and complete surrender to His will. How do I know His will? My old preacher Don Harp told me to do 3 things (pray, read the Bible and seek wise counsel). CLC has been a great way to do all three. Please pray that we and our friends are grateful for the ability to put our faith in Jesus and do all 3 things today. Please pray for the CLC Prayer and fundraising breakfast with Bill Curry on 2/18.
