This stands out because Paul says, “For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret”. God wants us to have “life to the full” and if He sees us involved in something that will bring death, He will convict us because He loves us. It’s tough to see His conviction as loving, but He sees what we don’t see. Please pray that we and our friends rejoice when grief leads to repentance.
