“And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.””Luke 19:41-44 ESV

All,
This stands out because Jesus said, “because you did not know the time of your visitation.” It is said that The book of Daniel predicted this day of Christ’s entry into the city by the very day(“173,880 days—is elapsed from March 5, 444 BC, until March 30, AD 33”

How important is it for us to know and study the Bible? While Jesus says that no one will know the exact time of His second coming, there are many things He does want us to know that are revealed to us by daily time in prayer and studying the Bible. Please pray that we and our friends spend time with Jesus today. Please pray for the CLC Buckhead social on 9/24.
