“Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.”John 20:6-9 ESV

All,
This stands out because John says about himself, “and he saw and believed”. Believed? What did he believe before then? John was one of Jesus’s core three. John had seen Jesus transfigured on the mountain and now he says he believed. It seems like Jesus will reveal more of who He is the more we walk with Him. Is it a matter of us believing or Jesus transforming us that allows us to believe? Please pray that we and our friends continue walking with Jesus and be amazed at what He will reveal to us today. Please pray for the men that are considering forming new CLC groups now.
