Daily CLC Prayer verse

“”I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:1-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

All,
This stands out because Jesus says, “Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”  Jesus makes a pretty clear choice here. Bear much fruit or do nothing. Both of these choices are God-centered as opposed to self-centered. We may “think” we can do stuff without God, but can we?  Also ask our motivation for not abiding in Jesus?  He has given us this incredible opportunity, but sometimes we miss it. Please pray that we and our friends choose to abide in God today and enjoy the fruit He produces. Please pray for Phil’s group as it’s forming.

  1. Thank you for these emails. They always uplift me. Sometimes they are so “on point” it is amazing. Have a great Thanksgiving! We all have much to be thankful for.

ALL FUNDS FOR CLOSING MUST BE REMITTED AS FOLLOWS:
$0.01 – $5,000.00: wire or cashier’s check required (no personal checks can be accepted)
    $5,000.01+: wire transfer only

Georgia law (O.C.G.A Section 44-14-13, the “Good Funds” law) requires all funds to be received by the closing attorney in excess of $5,000.00 be in the form of a wire. For amounts in between $0.01 and $5,000.00, a certified check issued by a local bank will be accepted. If you have any questions regarding these requirements, please contact the closings department so as to avoid any delay in the disbursement of your closing. If you need to transmit funds by wire, please contact us for wiring instructions. If you are arranging funds in advance of our preparation of the Settlement Statement, we recommend discussing the estimated amount due at closing with your Lender, then wiring that amount to us. Certified checks, if applicable, should be payable either to “Parkway Law Group, LLC”, or to your own name and then endorsed to us at closing.

    BEWARE OF FRAUDLENT WIRE INSTRUCTIONS
Wire fraud, email hacking and phishing attacks are on the rise to misdirect funds for closings. ALWAYS call our office to confirm our instructions prior to sending any wire – find our number from an independent source. NEVER respond or rely solely on wire instructions you receive by email, even if it appears to come from our office. Wiring instructions will only be sent once and only via secure email. We are not responsible for any wires sent by you to an incorrect bank account. WE ONLY BANK AT SUNTRUST!
