This stands out because Moses says, “These invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.” God was very specific as to how the Israelites were to treat all the other tribes. He knew Israel would worship other gods in an attempt to be in control just as our society does now. Does your worldview see God as one of the ways to help you or as Lord over your life?
