Today’s reading is Luke 2:25-52
“And he said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” And they did not understand the saying that he spoke to them. And he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was submissive to them. And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

This stands out because Luke says, “And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.” I wish we knew more about Jesus as a boy. My son is 12 and I know things are about to change drastically. We have very little time left with this “boy” and we treasure the time. Jesus was not only human, but He was a little boy that was submissive to his parents. Jesus knows us completely and knows exactly what troubles we go through as humans. He wants us to go to Him with all our cares and abide in Him constantly. Please pray that we and our friends abide in Jesus all day today and treasure the time we have with Him. Please pray for Jonathan and Thomas as they are building their group.
