This stands out because Paul says, “for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” We all have an opportunity in front of us for effective work in Christ today. We know also that spiritual warfare is very real and there will be adversaries to anything that is God’s purpose. If we lean on our own power, it will be difficult to impossible, but we have the power of the Holy Spirit with us to empower us to do the effective work we have in front of us. Please pray that we and our friends spend time with God today and ask Him to empower us today for His purpose. Please pray for the CLC Prayer and fundraising breakfast with Bill Curry on 2/18.
