“But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. This stands out because Paul says, “but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear.” As Paul was speaking about God’s plans for Jewish people, he warns us from becoming spiritually proud. I love this because many of us Christians forget that we are here to glorify God, not just to make us better people. Can we see everyone (Muslim, unbeliever, etc) today as a child of God as someone that God wants to have a relationship with? Please pray that we and our friends chose to love the very person in our life who loves God the least. Merry Christmas!
