“One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.”Acts 16:14-15 ESV

All,
This stands out because Luke says, “The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.” In our CLC now, we have been discussing the role the Holy Spirit does in some one becoming a disciple. How we need to follow God’s nudges knowing that the Holy Spirit is the one who actually changes hearts, not us. Remember how important relationships are. People don’t care how much you know till they know how much you care. Please pray that we and our friends follows God’s nudges over Thanksgiving as we are seeing old friends and making new ones. Please pray for the men considering CLC.
