“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? This sticks out because Jesus says the “least” of these. Many of us go to Bible studies to “fix” ourselves, when Christ has already saved us if we trust him. Wouldn’t it be wise to take what we’ve been given and help the “least” of these at our doorstep. We have plenty of friends that have a “poor” relationship with Christ. Does Jesus want us to “feed” them today by bringing Christ into the situation? Christ is ultimately the only one who can actually “fix” anything. Please pray we preach with our compassion today. Please pray for the Charleston victims and this country.
