“but the boat by this time was a long way from the land, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against them. And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.””Matthew 14:24-27 ESV

All,
This sticks out because Jesus has to tell them “Do not be afraid”. How often do we let fear control our choices? Here Jesus is about to “solve” their problem, but they are fearful of Him. Jesus’s answer to a problem may force us to face a fear to finally solve a problem. Please pray that we and our friends trust Jesus in the midst of turmoil as opposed to fearing his answer for the problem. Please pray for Larry Jamieson as he leads CLC in Minnesota.
