“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.” (James 5:1-3 ESV)
All,
This sticks out because we are all “rich” and need to realize the temptations that come with being “rich”. We are in Williamsburg for spring break this week and it’s amazing how we ALL live better than the Governor did then. The fact we have a shower(hot or cold,) decent food, drinkable water, electricity, AC, ability to listen to music anytime are all something the “very rich” didn’t have 250 years ago. Please pray that we and our friends are grateful to God today for these conveniences and use the extra time to glorify Him, not gain more stuff that “will corrode”. Please pray for Jeremy and Gary’s group.
