“By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.” (Hebrews 11:24-25 ESV)

This sticks out because of the choice Moses made. Choosing to be mistreated over pleasure seems odd. However, since a relationship with Christ gives me such peace and joy, I can understand how Moses would see this more of a choice between God and the world. He would rather be with God in the worst conditions than to be without Him in the “best” worldly condition. Please pray that we and our friends are guided by our relationship with God and not the shiny things of this world. Please pray for Jonnell, Cedric and Devon’s group.
