“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” (Hebrews 1:9 ESV)

This sticks out because we have been “anointed with the oil of gladness”. This seems to mean that we have a internal joy that God gives to us that is NOT dependent on outside circumstance. I don’t think it means that our circumstances will always be great, but that we will have a joy that is internal and only come from God. Please pray that we and our friends appreciate and are grateful at all times for what Christ has done for us. Please pray for the CLC co-facilitator training meeting on Tuesday morning from 7:00-8:30.
