“The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.”

All,This stands out because John says, “they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.”  It’s amazing that people can go through all this and still not repent. We see a glimpse of it in today’s world though. Are we tempted to keep relying on the little idols we have created?  They seem to bring us love, joy peace, etc. while we know only God gives those as fruit of the Spirit. Please pray that we and our friends ask God to reveal any areas of sin and thank Him for His forgiveness (from Ken Boa). Please pray for Christians to see everyone as a child of God.
