Daily CLC Prayer verse

“As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest.’” Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3:11-14, 18-19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

All,This stands out because the writer of Hebrews says, “Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.” How do we see unbelief? When we sin, do we see God’s concern or anger? God doesn’t want us to sin BECAUSE of His great love for us. He knows how easy it is to harden our hearts by the deceitfulness of sin. Then, when sin settles in, we are not able to know His rest. Please pray that we and our friends pray to God to help us with our unbelief in our particular areas of struggle. Please pray that we all have an answer for our belief in gentleness and respect(1 Peter 3:15)
