For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”

All,This stands out because Paul says, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth”. I don’t see how we aren’t in that time now and the yeast has been growing for centuries. However, God isn’t wringing His hands wondering what will happen. He sees exactly how all this turns out and we can read about it in Revelation. Please pray that we and our friends follow Paul’s charge at the beginning of this passage to be a part of God’s purpose today. Please pray for the Harp family. I will forever be grateful for Don Harp!
