All,This stands out because Paul says, “I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.” Are we tempted to put our spouses’ opinion above God’s? Paul now uses a good thing to help us see the need to prioritize God. Most people on this email aren’t as tempted to put sin above their relationship with God, but are we tempted to put our spouse or kids above God like Abraham?
