All,This stands out because Solomon says, “ Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”. I don’t think a day has gone by in years when I don’t say that verse in one instance or another. It’s so comforting to know that God is either behind something or He isn’t. If He is, then my responsibility is to do His purpose and my best. If He isn’t, I shouldn’t be either. It also says He gives us rest, not circumstances. Please pray that we and our friends find our rest in Him today. Please pray for all the medical workers, especially Allie McLemore.
