This stands out because Paul says, “we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope”.  Do you equate suffering with hope when you are going through it?  I don’t. However, we all get to see the fruit it produces in hindsight.  It does force us to focus on Christ in a more vibrant way. Please pray that we and our friends place our hope in Christ alone.
