“So I led them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live. This stands out because God says, “I gave them my Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.” Do we see Sabbaths as a time of trust? When do we truly rest? Is it in anything but the Lord Himself? I’m surprised at myself with how often I look to other things(idols) for rest. Please pray that we and our friends seek rest in God today. Please pray for Brad and Jeff’s group.
