This stands out because the psalmist says, “Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted”. I’m constantly amazed how other things or people will subtly become more important to me than God. Whenever this happens, there is a lot of unrest and I start asking God why. Out of His love, He helps me see these idols that I’ve created and brings my attention back to Him. Please pray that we and our friends ask God to reveal any idols in our lives that we are putting above Him. Please pray for us to really know how much God loves us.
