“Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind. This stands out because the writer says, “And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.” Has God given you certain talents or gifts? Have you thanked Him for those gifts? Like Solomon, we may be tempted to credit ourselves with certain gifts if we do not thank God daily and then lose our way.
