This stands out because the Lord says, “but they have rejected me from being king over them”. We are tempted to solve all our problems with things we can control. Israel wanted a king to fight its battles as opposed to putting God first. When they put God first, He took care of them. However, when they worshipped idols, trouble would occur and they looked for a king to fight their battles. Please pray that we and our friends put ALL our trust in God and not ourselves, idols, money or government, etc. Please pray for Tyson’s group.
