Today’s reading is 2 Peter 1
“For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,” we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.”

This stands out because Peter says, “we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.” I’m so thankful for Easter more and more each year. I am so thankful for the forgiveness of my sins and it makes me more and more grateful. I can’t imagine how grateful Peter was after denying Jesus three times. He saw the miracles. He heard God from Heaven. He saw Jesus transfigured with Moses and Elijah. Please pray that we and our friends appreciate the power of Jesus working in us to present us unblemished. Please pray for Steven and Cheever’s group.
