“as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything. We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your own affections. In return (I speak as to children) widen your hearts also.”2 Corinthians 6:10-13 ESV

All,
This stands out because Paul says, “as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing”. I love it when the Bible speaks about “always rejoicing” or to “be joyful always”. My friend Jeremy is laughing right now. I haven’t counted, but “rejoice always” is commanded in the Bible several times. Do we only rejoice when things are going well all the time? Most of the time? Occasionally? When all of our loved ones are healthy? When we have plenty of money? Our clients love us? No matter our circumstance, we can rejoice in the fact that Christ died for us and our loved ones and we get to spend eternity with Him and them period. Please pray that we and our friends seek the joy in every situation today. Please pray for Carla Miles as she speaks at the CLC lunch today from 12-1 at the Lodge in Ptree Pres.
