Today’s reading is 2 Corinthians 2
“When I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ, even though a door was opened for me in the Lord, my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia. But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?”

All,
This stands out because Paul says, “even though a door was opened for me in the Lord, my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia”. CLC President, Dr. Craig Fry, highlighted this verse yesterday and it’s part of today’s reading. There are no coincidences in God. We talked about how even though God opened a door, Paul chose to leave because the Holy Spirit was not at peace. These decisions are very hard to make, but if we do not have peace about a choice, there may be another choice. Please pray that we and our friends seek God’s purpose today and enjoy His peace no matter the external circumstances. Please pray for the CLC lunch on Tuesday from 12-1 at the Lodge at Ptree Pres on Roswell Rd. in Atlanta.
