Today’s reading is 1 Corinthians 15:33-58
“But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?” You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain. But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.”
1 Corinthians 15:35-38 ESV

All,
This stands out because Paul says, “What you sow does not come to life unless it dies”. How does Jesus transform us while we are here on earth? He says in order to follow Him, we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross and then follow him. There is a order here in resurrection and on earth. Our selfish nature must be denied and die. This is very hard to do as we want God to polish up certain bad parts of us. However, He wants to rip them out instead and fill the void with His nature. Please pray that we and our friends pick up our cross in the areas where God wants us to let go. Please pray for the CLC Buckhead lunch next Tuesday from 12-1.
