This stands out because Paul says, “”All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful.” Do you ever rationalize that something is “lawful”? Does it give you peace when you do it? When I think of “lawful”, it leads me down a legalistic path. Jesus loves us and wants to give us life. He doesn’t want us “to do” or “not to do” something because of a set of rules. He wants us to obey Him because He knows what best for us and we should want to obey him instead of obeying out of duty. Please pray that we and our friends seek God’s purpose for our lives today and obey. Please pray for Stacey Kessler.
