Daily CLC Prayer verse

“Now as Peter went here and there among them all, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, bedridden for eight years, who was paralyzed. And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; rise and make your bed.” And immediately he rose. And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.”‭‭Acts‬ ‭9:32-35‬ ‭ESV‬‬

All,
This stands out because Peter says, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; rise and make your bed.” I can’t imagine healing someone like Peter did. I’m pretty sure Pride would get to me quickly and I would think I am more special than most in the Kingdom of God. However, Peter had already dealt with pride after denying Christ. Here Peter confidently obeys God by making an accountable statement and making Christ at the center of it. He doesn’t say he heals him, but Jesus Christ. Please pray that we and our friends trust And obey God today And glorify Jesus while doing it. Please pray for the Cobb county breakfast gathering this Friday at Marietta Diner.
