Daily CLC Prayer verse

Today’s reading is John 17
“”I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.”

‭‭John‬ ‭17:20-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

All,
This stands out because Jesus says, “I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one”. Is it possible for followers of Jesus to be “perfectly one”? “Perfectly one” implies being Jesus centered as opposed to self-centered or worldly-centered. How difficult is it to be perfectly one if we don’t spend time with Jesus or read the Bible? Will good intentions make us perfectly one? How about church attendance? Time with Jesus and the Bible are imperative if we want to be perfectly one. Please pray that we and our friends prioritize this day around Jesus. Please pray for John and Brack as they are building their group.
