Today’s reading is John 14
“Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.””

This stands out because Jesus says, “No one comes to the Father except through me.” Is this a loving statement? The world would say it’s not loving, but exclusive. How can Jesus love everyone and yet say He is the only way. Is it unloving to tell a friend that gravity exists? Is Jesus’s statement any less true than gravity? Does Jesus love people who doesn’t believe Him? Absolutely, but He will not force anyone to love Him. Do you have any friends that need to know Jesus?
