Daily CLC Prayer verse

Today’s reading is Mark 15:1-26
“And Pilate again said to them, “Then what shall I do with the man you call the King of the Jews?” And they cried out again, “Crucify him.” And Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify him.” So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.”

All,
This stands out because Mark says, “So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released for them Barabbas”. Do leaders follow orders from the crowd and just do what the crowd wants them to do? It’s definitely the easy thing to do at the time, but turns out to be more harmful in the long run. Do you have any decisions that need to be made today that require true leadership? God has a purpose for you today and the decisions you are to make. Please pray that we and our friends pray over our day today and ask God for His purpose in these activities. Please pray for Debbie, Makenna and Kole.
