Today’s reading is Mark 6:33-56
“And he saw that they were making headway painfully, for the wind was against them. And about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. He meant to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, and cried out, for they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” And he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded, for they did not understand about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.”

All,
This stands out because Mark says, “he came to them, walking on the sea.” Jesus walked on water! Jesus also rose from the dead! I think we as Christians get so comfortable with our knowledge of Jesus’s miracles that they become commonplace. Do we realize Who we actually worship? Everything else that is worshipped is a object that was created by God. We worship the God who actually created the world, has seen today already happen, knows the outcome of every decision you are pondering now. Please pray that we and our friends step back today and think through who Christ really is and who He is to us. Please pray for Debbie, Makenna and Kole.
