“”Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”Matthew 5:17-19 ESV

All,
This stands out because Jesus says, “Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven”. Jesus loves us and wants the best for us. He knows that sin can separate us from Him, but He wants us to abide in Him always. I know some Christian leaders are tempted to let their sympathies get in the way of God’s commandments, but that only hurts the person they are trying to help. Only God can give someone peace. Please pray that we and our friends love our loved ones today and get to know Jesus together. Please pray for the men considering CLC.
Today’s reading is Matthew 5:1-26. Please consider reading through the New Testament with me over this year. We started the plan on the Holy Bible app 4 days ago, so let me know if you want to get the app and I will send you instructions.
