“Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. This stands out because Peter says, “Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy”. I realized through CLC how much joy I received by pleasing people and how that desire competed with pleasing God sometimes. Often times, pleasing God does please people also, but sometimes I think God is nudging me to obey in such a way that it doesn’t serve someone else’s interests, but it serves God’s. I have found in my own life that God knows a lot more than me and His purpose is the best purpose. Please pray that we and our friends love God with all our hearts today. Please pray for the church leaders as they are constantly in Spiritual warfare.
